Here we are at last with the final episode of the Higanbana Bookclub Podcast. Sorry it got out late, Aspi had to focus on his studies so didn’t have time to edit it until now~ In this episode we be discussing the final three chapters of The Second Night. I Aspirety am joined once again by MagusVerborum, VyseGolbez and for the very first time Zosonte! We got into some pretty meaty discussion with this one, and some of it may be a little controversial, so consider this a small warning. It’s all civil and respectful, but you don’t have to agree with all the ideas we present in this podcast! Our views are our own.
My humble thanks to all the forum members for their discussion of this chapter in the four forum topics: My Best Friend, A Thistle for Vengeance, and Before the Spider Lillies Bloomed, as well as in the General Higanbana Topic.
Thank you once more to all you lovely people who submitted fanart for the Bookclub! After careful consideration, we’ve decided to commend PocketyHat as our Top Artist for the Bookclub for her lovely doodles and wonderful Marie art. And for his magnificent analysis of each chapter, we commend MagusVerborum as our top poster! Both of you have been sent a Miracles Zine that should arrive in the mail soon!
Thanks to everyone who joined this Bookclub. It had a bit of a rocky progression, but the fact that there were enough people who stuck around til the end and provided some amazing analysis on this story makes me very happy. I’m glad I finally got to experience this story together with you all; it’s truly given me a lot to think about in my own life. See you soon for the continuation of the Umineko Tea Party!
