We’re back. It’s been 11 months after the Episode 4 Podcast, but now that Answer Arcs has finally released on Steam, our witch hunters are ready to dive in and reach the core of the witch’s tale. Welcome to Episode 5, End of the Golden Witch. I Aspirety am joined once again by Seraphitic, VyseGolbez and for the very first time Jokrono as we go over our impressions of the episode, and plenty of talk about how damn meta Umineko is getting. Speaking of meta, it seems my gameboard has been usurped by Jokrono; I’m gonna have to see about getting in back in time for the next podcast.
My sincere gratitude to all the forum members for their discussion of this chapter in the Spoiler-Free and Full Series Spoilers topics, we got some really awesome discussion happening and it’s super exciting to see all the theories the newcomers are coming up with, some of which we touch on in this podcast. Not even the epitaph has been spared! Dawn approaches, and soon our apprentice witch hunters will have all the same information available to them as the veterans. These next few podcasts are sure to be very interesting indeed. Who will emerge as our top poster for the Answer Arcs Tea Party and receive the Umineko PS3 games? That is up to you.
And also, thank you to Jokrono for editing the audio for this one, excluding the music, and thank you once more to all our wonderful artists who submitted fanart of Episode 5! If we manage to get lots of art submissions for the Tea Party, we’ll award our top artist with a very nice Umineko prize, so be sure to keep the submissions coming if you want to see that happen! With that said, let’s dive into Dawn of the Golden Witch.
If you’d prefer to download and listen to the podcast offline, we’ve prepared an mp3 you can download here. For more information about the Umineko Tea Party, including links to relevant forum topics and future episodes, you can find our hub page here, or on the button at the top of the page.
