As of April 7th, the first volume of the Ryukishi’s new manga series has been released! When The Game Ends (aka Renai Harem Game Shuuryou no Oshirase ga Kuru Koro ni) by Yukari Higa is currently serialised in the Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine with its 7th chapter releasing this month. A manga trailer was released to promote this manga release - Higurashi and Umineko also received similar manga promotion trailers in the past.
The basic plot revolves around a boy who lives out the life of a harem game protagonist, blissfully unaware that the girls vying for his affection have been forced into a bloody conflict under the threat of eternal torture if they do not obey or win the game. Taking a quick glance at the first two chapters, it’s pretty screwed up!
